Fascinating… In this “study,” Time polled its viewers for nominations to the list; after the deadline for nominations, the polls stayed open till April 21, when the results were published.

I have created a spreadsheet with a column for the ranking from the Time online convenience poll; VP Joe Biden at 14, Secy. Hillary Clinton at 43, Captain Dhoni at 52, Pres. Obama at 86:

The print copy for May 2 also arrived in the mail; 118 of its 154 pages, including the cover are devoted to the influential 100. What is really disturbing is that there is no mention of the convenience sampling technique used.
